SWEAT OFFICE
1 Dundas Street East, Toronto, Canada
SWEAT office design is inspired by the 2-Spirits culture and Native Canadian culture. The inspiration is eagle's feather - one of the famous symbol of the natives. Eagle's feathers represents hope and strength, as SWEAT is designed to support the queer millennial generation. The design will integrate with forms and colours to demonstrate diversity and community.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
The lower floor of the office (10th floor) will be the public floor. Here, clients will find the touchdown lobby for information and security check, and a touchdown lounge where clients can relax, have some complimentary beverages, or work on their laptop. There will be a community table for quick informal meetings.

The center of the space is the Feather Stair, connecting the two floors together. The stair curves around a small indoor garden, as a representation of the nature.
The upper floor (11th floor) is the main office area for SWEAT staffs and volunteers. The space provides different types of working strategies such as standing-sitting desks and group project stations. The office also includes a communal center for the workers to relax, eat and socialize.
